Yay spoons
A quick final shot of Thea's new favorite toy - a wooden spoon courtesy of a gift from Eric and Lauren to Jeremey several Christmas's ago.
November cont.
Our friend's Joe and Paula from Spain have moved stateside for a few months. We are thrilled to have them close by and it's all the more reason for everyone to get together more often. Thea continues to enjoy the company of others (in this instance Ariel). The hat in the picture was made by our friend Channa - I have one that matches!
Thanksgiving (ish)
We are taking advantage of the mini-vacation to catch up on blog photos, sleep, and a leisurely pace to our days. Hope this finds everyone well and apologies for so many pics all at once. Thea and I had a wonderful trip to Kentucky over Veterans Day weekend. So grateful for everyone coming out to Mom and Dad's place (Carews, Scotts, Franzinis, Tata (98!), Mimaw (96!), Emily Tingle/Settle and her family, etc.)

Thea is 6 months old!
We're back in the world of electricity and appreciating the ease of life with power. We weathered 4 days quite well though, thanks to our wood stoves and gas cooking stove. Nikolai didn't have school all of last week and Thea was most interested in catching the light from our headlamps. Hope this finds everyone well - appreciating the little things in life.

fun with sweet cheeks
Here are a few scenes of the day to day. We're all getting back into the swing of work/school with alarm clocks, making of lunches, earlier bed times, etc. Thea continues to be pure joy and is 'talking' up a storm these days. Nikolai is deep into school and soccer and Jeremey and I have our hands full at work (in good ways). As you can see, Murry is tolerating being at the bottom of our family totem pole with his usual good natured-ness.

fun on the floor
Here are a few pics of recent weeks. Thea has learned to roll over from her back to her front (and is still figuring how to get back over) I couldn't resist putting one in of Jeremey working on the kitchen floor - it is now retiled, but I don't have any images of the new floor just yet. Thea has started attending a home day care now that Jeremey and I are back at work and she is loving it there. She is a total rock star. Her day care provider, Kyla, has proven to be a wonderful woman and suffice it say, she has earned her title as the bottle whisperer. Love to all...
